Robert Fields was a mathematical genius and member of the 4400 with the ability to, combined with his mathematical knowledge, recognize complex patterns. Robert later became an employee at the 4400 Center. When Shawn Farrell briefly considered leaving the center for personal reasons, Robert was among the candidates selected to replace him, but was later dropped from consideration when Matthew Ross was told his ability wasn't popular enough.
