Psychosis induction is the ability to cause mental illnesses from a long range.

Daniel was able to use his ability over a long range. Daniel could induce disorganized schizophrenia in Shawn Farrell while Shawn was in his apartment in the 4400 Center and Daniel was miles away in his car. Once activated the target will suffer under this illness indefinitely unless Daniel reverses it. It is unknown if the reversal process needs a short distance to work, as he was under duress from Isabelle Tyler at the time he cured Shawn. It is also unknown if he is able to induce other forms of mental illness or just disorganized schizophrenia.
