The 4400 Wiki is an encyclopedia about everything related to the TV series, The 4400, which aired on USA Network from 2004 to 2007. Please contribute to this wiki as much as possible. What is the 4400?

The 4400 is about that exact number of individuals living in different times starting at the year 1946, who end up disappearing. What causes their disappearance is a comet, in which a beam of white light takes them away. Some of them have been gone for over fifty years; others have been gone for as little as three. When they return, the comet brings them to Highland Beach, where it stops, as cameramen and detectives watch. The comet appears to be a glowing ball of light. As everyone looks at it, the comet explodes as a shock wave, sending everybody back off their feet.

When getting up from the ground, the watchers see that the water is gone, and taking its place are thousands of people. In fact, they are the same 4400 people who went missing over time. When each of the 4400 tries to regain their life back, they realize that they do not remember where they have been for the years they were gone. They also discover that they possess supernatural abilities. They attempt to get their lives back together, only to find that they are being treated differently, most of the time as freaks.

Shawn Farrell

Shawn disappeared on December 12, 1983. He has a brother named Danny, a cousin named Kyle, and an uncle, Kyle's father, Tom Baldwin. When he was taken, he and Kyle were by a lake drinking beer. They saw a bright light and it came down to take Shawn. Kyle tried to pull him down to rescue him, but was pushed back by the light, placing him in a coma, and taking Shawn. When Shawn returned and demonstrated his gift on Kyle, he woke up for a brief moment. He later woke up permanently. When Shawn ran away from home, realizing he could not fit in at home, or at school, he went to the 4400 Center, started by a 4400, Jordan Collier. Shawn started living at the Center, and his friendship with Jordan developed. Jordan grew to like Shawn, enough that he made him his partner. Shawn worked with pride at the Center, glad that he is helping the 4400s who need it.
