Adrian Holmes is the actor who portrays Lieutenant Payton
Adrian was born in Wrexham, North Wales, UK, and the eldest of three boys, grew up in Vancouver and now makes Vancouver and Los Angeles his home. As a child, Holmes loved to entertain and performed in numerous school plays. After high school, he studied Theater and Nursing in College and worked at Vancouver General Hospital.
His nursing career was short lived soon to be followed by various television and movie appearances. TV work include roles on such shows as Fringe, Supernatural and V but his portrayal of "Basqat" has been a fan favorite on Season Nine of the long running, series Smallville.
In 2010, Holmes appeared opposite Halle Berry as her love interest "Clifton" in "Frankie and Alice." The film, which had a limited release, went on to be nominated for a Golden Globe and win two Image Awards including "Best Film."
The following year he demonstrated his skill of dialects in the feature "Red Riding Hood." Directed Catherine Hardwick (Twilight), the film brought Holmes to international recognition and allowed him the privilege of working opposite one of his favorite actors, seasoned veteran Gary Oldman.
He actively volunteers with many organizations, especially those involving children. His intention is to give inspiration and hope so others can recognize and have the tools to achieve their dreams.
